MTNL Launches 3G Jadoo in Mumbai

MTNL has announced the commercial launch of its wireless broadband service - 3G Jadoo. This service will enable customers to access Internet on the move at speeds of upto 3.6Mbps on MTNL's HSDPA enabled 3G network. The MTNL 3G Jadoo SIM pack is available at Rs. 300 and customers can buy any compatible HSDPA data card from the open market and insert the MTNL 3G Jadoo SIM to enjoy wireless broadband service. Customers have an option to choose from any of the prepaid and postpaid plans. For availing the service, customers have to pay/recharge Rs. 149 per month that will come with 60 MB free data usage. 3G Jadoo data plans/coupons are available from Rs. 99 to Rs. 2500 with different free data usage limits as per the need. As a promotional offer, MTNL will be providing an HSDPA data card bundled with 3G SIM at Rs. 3,499 with a free Rs. 750 data voucher offering 1GB of free data download. Presently MTNL 3G network coverage is available from Prabhadevi to Mulund on the Eastern Express highway and upto the Airport on the Western Express highway in covering a major part of the area from Cuffeparade to Mahim. In other areas customers can continue internet browsing on MTNL GPRS/EDGE network. 3G Mobile i.e handset based services will be available for Mumbaikars very shortly. |
