Corsair today announced the launch of the Flash Voyager USB 3.0 Flash drives. The flash drives, like previous Corsair flash drives, are shockproof and water-resistant. The new flash drives now bring super fast transfer of data thanks to USB 3.0. Those without USB 3.0 need not worry as the flash drives are also backwards compatible with USB 2.0/USB 1.1.

At the launch event, Thi La, Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair said, “the faster read speeds offered by USB 3.0 make high-speed data storage much more convenient. For example, high-bandwidth videos can be viewed directly from the USB drive, so you no longer have to wait while they are copied to a hard drive or SSD”.

The new USB3.0 Flash Voyager drives will be sold worldwide and will retail for $19.99 (Rs. 959) for the 8GB version, $29.99 (Rs.1,440) for the 16GB version, and $69.99 (Rs. 3,360) for the 32GB version.
