Om Nanotech Introduces New ZipMem Pen Drives

India’s leading manufacturer, exporter and supplier of memory modules, computer RAMs, flash drives, etc have just announced new ZipMem 6 GB and 10 GB pen drives. They claim to be the first manufacturer of the said capacities of pen drives in India.

They claim that these unique capacities fill an existing void that was not addressed before thus providing a wider range to choose from. These pen drives are supported by all Microsoft operating systems like Vista, XP, Win 2000, 98SE as well as another OS – Linux.

These CE and FCC certified drives are USB 2.0 compliant as well as backward compatible with USB 1.1. The USB drives can be customized with advanced features like Multi – Partition which is –
Four Partitions: One read only partition designated for AutoRun feature, two read-write partitions and one hidden partition.


Two partitions: The USB drive has advanced manageability. Both partitions can be divided into public zone or private zone, where the private zone can be password protected. Further to this each partition can be custom sizeable.

Om Nanotech claims that these stylish ZipMem pen drives are a sophisticated and convenient tool for storing multimedia and also boast of impressive endurance and data retention. They also state that the maximum read transfer rate is 18.5 MB/s and maximum write transfer rate is 6.5 MB/s.

No word is out on the price of these Om Nanotech ZipMem pen drives.
