One of Samsung’s latest additions to their mobile family is the new splash, dust and shock resistant M110. It may be one of the sturdiest phones around but it’s not one of the higher end, feature rich models. The M110 is a low tech mobile with a display resolution of 128 x 128 pixels on its 1.5 inch CSTN display. But if you’re under the impression that this might also be a very slim phone, it’s about 18mm thick and weighs in at a little less than 100g so you do the math. It’s probably the hardcore body that actually makes it a wee bit bulky. But on the plus side the device is equipped with Bluetooth, an integrated FM radio and it even has a VGA camera with an LED flash to boot. It also comes equipped with a strap for a carabiner so it can be comfortably clipped to your pants loop and placed in your pocket, like an oversized keychain. The M110 is going to be out in two colors and is priced at approximately Rs. 4000. But there’s no official word on that or the release yet. |
