Opera launches new Coast browser for iPad

Opera is now looking to build a completely different kind of browser for the modern Internet user, according to the Verge. The software company has come up with a brand new browser for the iPad which scraps the old Opera titled browser for a newly minted one, titled Coast.

While Opera has quite a few mobile browsers currently out in the market, it is reportedly looking at Coast as its biggest move to become the biggest player in the mobile browsing space. Coast is now available for download only for the iPad from the official Apple App Store. While Coast has reportedly been in the works since last year, there is still no word on when the same will be expanded for other platforms.
