RetailMeNot Coupon Code site launched

RetailMeNot is a very easy to use website that facilitates sharing of discount coupons online. A lot of online shopping and vendor websites (such as amazon.com or dell.com) offer e-coupons, in the form of codes such as '9D42R7W2D0?F0B', which entitle the purchaser to some sort of a discount on the items on the website.

These codes can be found in a variety of promotionals, such as magazine ads or online banners, which not everyone may come across. RetailMeNot aims to collect all available coupon codes online and share them when the rest of the users.

It works in a very simple manner. Everytime you are about to make a purchase, you simply log on to RetailMeNot.com and search for the website, for eg. dell.com, and you will be presented with a list of codes available for that site. Key in the code during the check out process (or whenever the vendor website asks you) and you'll benefit from it! Since this is a user-based, self-maintained website, you can also contribute to it by submitting codes that you may come across that aren't already on the website.

The site has been developed by the same guys who made BugMeNot.com, a website that facilitates the sharing of logins and passwords to other websites that force you to register for simple tasks like reading the full content of an article. RetailMeNot offers the exact same interface as BugMeNot, which has been accepted as one of the most functional and visually appealing interface for a service like this.

By the way, that code in the first paragraph gives you 30% off the price for certain Dell Inspiron laptops on dell.com. Unfortunately, these don't work for dell.co.in!
