Yahoo! Launches Pipes Feed Mixer

Yahoo! has just launched Yahoo Pipes, which is a tool that lets users combine different data feeds to create new, customized feeds.

Different websites offer their content in RSS or Atom feeds. Yahoo! Pipes lets you add multiple feeds from different sources into one. Typically, different websites offer feeds that may be of similar nature, for example different photo sharing websites. Yahoo! Pipes can let you create one new feed which will contain content from all the different sources.

The service, which is presently in beta, is currently capable of combining RSS and Atom format feeds, but they plan to add more sources soon.
