Belkin India, has recently launched the Belkin AC1200 dual band Wi-Fi router in India. Commenting on the launch of the new product, the brand states that the Belkin AC1200 is the next generation router that features 802.11ac technology for speeds that are up to three times faster than existing 802.11n technology.
Belkin's AC1200 DB Wi-Fi Dual-Band AC+ Gigabit Routers provide reliability, improved speeds, and streaming capabilities. The Belkin AC1200 will be available across all leading technology stores in the India starting today, and is priced at Rs 14,999.

The brand states that by featuring Broadcom's fifth-generation (5G Wi-Fi) 802.11ac chip technology, the Belkin AC1200 DB provides gigabit speeds wirelessly to extend network range and provide reliable coverage at greater distances. The brand claims that a centrepiece to any advanced home technology ecosystem, Belkin's powerful AC router makes it possible to stream more content to multiple devices, almost anywhere in the home. Ideal for smartphones and tablets, AC technology enables faster web downloads and file syncing with less drainage on battery life. The router works well with Wi-Fi ‘N’ and ‘G’ devices taking network integration to the next level.

Though Belkin is popular for it routers, the brand has also launched other products in the past. In October, the brand launched a portable charging device, the Power Pack. Belkin claims that the Power Pack makes for ideal portable charging equipment for charging MP3 players, smartphones, Bluetooth devices, portable gaming systems, and other USB rechargeable electronics.
Belkin claims that users will be able to charge their smartphones, MP3 players, etc on the go, even in the absence of charging ports. The Belkin Power Pack comes with a 6-inch micro USB to USB cable, using which, Belkin claims that users will be able to using their devices, even while they are being charged. Additionally, it comes with a StorageSafe feature, which Belkin claims retains the charging for months together, by enabling the device to lose only five percent of its charging per month, which does seem to be a useful and relevant feature. The Power Pack also sports an LED indicator to give out the status of the charging of the device.
The Belkin Power Pack comes in three variants - Power Pack 1000, Power Pack 2000 and Power Pack 4000. The Power Pack 1000 uses a 1000mAh battery, which Belkin claims to be ideal for charging mobile phones, while the Power Pack 2000 uses a 2000mAh battery, which Belkin claims to be enough for charging the smartphone fully. Lastly, the Power Pack 4000 uses a 4000mAh battery, which, according to the official post can either charge a smartphone fully or rapid charge a tablet.
