The words "Wireless router" and sexy don’t really go hand in hand as most routers are designed more to be functional, than have style. However this is all set to change, with the introduction of Linksys’s new range of Wireless-N routers. This new range is available in 2 models WRT310N and WRT160N. Both these routers are 802.11n-based home gateways and to accommodate their new design have internal antennas. In terms of difference the WRT310n has 3 internal antennas while the WRT160N has 2. Both also can function as network switches and hence the WRT310n has gigabit connectivity while the WRT160n has only a 4 port 10/100 switch capability. |
