Metallica Now Available on iTunes

| by Priyanka Pradhan | Windows

Heavy metal heavy-weights Metallica, have succumbed to the digital music world by finally making their albums available for sale on Apple's digital music store, iTunes. Metallica has agreed to sell songs from four of its albums, "Kill 'Em All," "Ride the Lightning," "Master of Puppets" and "...And Justice for All" along with previously unreleased live tracks, exclusively on the digital music store. However, the band's work is available on iTMS but just for US and Canadian customers, owing to a dispute with Metallica's overseas record label, Mercury. Although Metallica albums have been made available for download via services like MSN music, the band along with The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Radiohead was opposed to selling individual songs in the past for financial reasons or their belief that albums were unified works.
