RIAA Sues Family Without a PC

24 Apr, 2006, 1:30 pm IST | by Jayesh Mansukhani | Windows

America's leading anti-piracy body the RIAA, has sued a family based in Georgia for illegal music file sharing, despite the fact that they don't even own a computer. The family head James Walls was shocked by the court filing and was left wondering about the futility of the lawsuit against them. There is presently speculation by the Walls family that the previous residents may be to blame because the Walls have only resided at their present address “for less than a year” and that they "don't even have a computer". Its not the first time RIAA has made mistakes in the past in their short but troubled history. Some of their glaring mistakes in the past have included suing a grandmother without a PC for downloading rapper music.RIAA_t.jpg
