WotNext.com Debuts as Video Sharing Site

Australian telecom company, Telstra has launched its own video sharing website, WotNext.com, which offers a 50 per cent revenue share for video clips on celebrity sightings, comedy skits, action sports, original music and other original content. Users are required register on the website and submit the videos, shot on their mobile phones, digital or video cameras. The portal will allow video clips uploaded by users, to be viewed on mobile phones for $A1.00 per video, exclusive of data charges by the mobile operator. T he submitter will earn 50 cents, every time his video is downloaded onto a mobile phone. Moreover, people who are not Telstra customers can earn credit, which they can convert into cash if they move their mobile service to Telstra. |
