| It is quite amusing to see how innovative major portals have gotten in offering better email services. We have come a long way from the 2 MB Hotmail accounts, which would be spammed like there's no tomorrow and not to mention the complete lack of space. Today's web-based email has space in GBs and offer superior Spam control that has all but eliminated Spam from landing directly in your inbox. Meanwhile, Web technology itself has not been stagnant; eg. RSS has made surfing the Net much easier by customizing one's surfing experience. One of the leaders in this era of innovation and new products is Yahoo!. On Wednesday it launched a beta test of a new version of Yahoo! Mail in conjunction with AT&T, which features new functions such as drag-and-drop, e-mail organization, message preview and an integrated RSS reader that allows access to other feeds directly from Web mail. |
