Xbox 360 to Launch in India

Good news for Indian gamers, Microsoft has finally decided to launch the Xbox 360 in India. The console is expected sometime during Diwali (October 21st to be exact) and will include "a 20 GB detachable Xbox 360 Hard Drive for storing music, video and games, an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, an Xbox 360 Media Remote control and a Component HD-AV Cable for connecting to component and composite television inputs, an Ethernet cable, and batteries." Microsoft is taking pre-orders as well, so you can SMS X360 to 8243 or log onto www.indiabox.com and check out their pre-order page. The pre-order campaign is in collaboration with Adidas and EA to coincide with the FIFA world cup and will start by the 9th of June. People who pre-order the console will be eligible for a 10% discount (Rs 2000 approximately). |
