Xbox Live Now Available in India

05 Nov, 2007, 3:16 pm IST | by Avinash Bali | Console

After broken promises and mucho delays, Microsoft India is all set to roll out Xbox Live in India officially from today.

Users will be able to not only to enjoy casual, fast-paced arcade action, new game content or multiplayer frag-fests but also never seen before, exclusive local Bollywood movie trailers of "Hanuman returns" to begin with. A tie-up with UTV ensures that users will have access to other already released but popular Bollywood content of UTV films. Xbox Live will also make available content related to Love Story 2050 – Harman Baweja’s debut film opposite Priyanka Chopra – a perfect fit for Xbox Live and its users.

I really wonder what makes Microsoft think that a trailer or content for Love Story 2050 would be a "perfect fit" for Xbox Live users. Anyway, in case you missed it earlier, here’s a look at the prices once again:
  • 500 Points Card – Rs 340
  • 1,000 Points Card – Rs 680
  • 2,000 Points Card – Rs 1,360
  • 5,000 Points Card – Rs 3,400
  • 12 Month Gold Subscription Card – Rs 2,200
  • 1 Month Gold Subscription Card – Rs 350
All of the above mentioned cards should be available at the retailers mentioned in this list. For more on Xbox Live, head right here.
