Grand Theft Auto IV Multiplayer

Deathmatch
Kill, kill, kill... and then kill some more till the timer runs out.

Team Deathmatch
Like Deathmatch but with teammates.

Cops and Crooks
It’s like the chor-police you played as a kid, only cooler. In this mode one team plays as the cops and they have to make sure the other team’s mob boss ends up sleeping with the fish. The crooks on the other hand not only have to protect their leader against the law but also try and get him to safety.

Car Jack City
A free-for-all mode where everyone in the game is ordered to steal cars by Russian mob boss Kenny Petrovic. Bang your car up too much and you’ll receive pocket change; keep it in fair nick and you stand to make a healthy sum.

Team Car Jack City
The same as Car Jack City, only now you have teammates who can help you thrash the competition (literally) by wrecking their cars.

Turf War
Like King of the Hill from Halo 3, Turf War in GTA IV has players struggling to capture and control a particular piece of land – which keeps moving from one place to another though the map.

Race
Name’s kinda self-explanatory, innit?

GTA Race
Like Races but with a slight twist. In this mode weapons spawn throughout the game, so instead of just racing from one point to another you can (and must) obliterate your foes to get ahead.

Mafiya Work
Once again you’re at the beck and call of Kenny Petrovic. This time you’ll have to indulge in a bunch of duties like "collecting cars, taking certain people out, picking up prostitutes, and blowing up vehicles".

Team Mafiya Work
Same as the above but with teammates.

Would you buy it?
