Kodak EasyShare V1073

That apart, there is very little you can control in this camera. In the smart mode, you cannot access white balance options. This poses a problem when shooting in artificial fluorescent indoor lighting. Ideally, the sensor should calculate the right white balance, but in this case it fails to do so in the smart mode.

The camera is power hungry. One full charge will hardly last 30 pictures, all with flash. Without flash the camera gave me about 50 pictures. This is unsatisfactory. Battery life is very important, especially for compact cameras like the V1073 that make use of rechargeable batteries.

The camera costs Rs 12,000, which is frankly a good price. Except for the battery, there's very little to dislike about the camera. It's feature-packed, and a must-have.
