The speakers come built into the player and you also have an option of attaching a pair of headphones in case you're using it at a public place. Yes, there are bundled headphones, but I suggest you use something better. The headset bundled with the player doesn't sound too bad, but its comfort level is questionable.
The buttons on the player are a bit hard, but still usable. The remote control features that you'd come to expect from a DVD player, and it's really helpful especially when you connect the TFD-7305 to a television set, or have it hung from the car harness.
So everything looks great so far, now it's time to see what this baby is capable of.
Features As a movie player the TFD-7305 supports DVDs and Video CDs, but no DivX or any other codec in the series. I personally find this very limiting as DivX movies are fast catching on, and not supporting it in any new DVD player is a big downer; but then again, it is my personal opinion.
When you feel like giving your eyes some rest, you can also use this as an Audio CD player or just pop in an MP3 CD/DVD to enjoy hours of your music. It's also capable of viewing JPEG images burned on a CD or DVD.
The player connects to any television set using composite cables, which means that you're limited to composite quality video. It has an optical out, which you can use to get true 5.1 surround sound through an external optical decoder.
