Performance & Conclusion This is one department where Bose excels. The sound quality is very good and warm though not excellent. Also, the bass is reproduced really well, especially with such small drivers. Overall the level of detail is good and balanced. Everything is good about the earphones but the price. They are terribly expensive at Rs. 5625 and even though they sound good they don't command that kind of money. For around Rs. 1200-1500 you can get canal earphones from Creative, the EP-630, that sound just as good and also come with different sized ear tips. You may argue that they belong to different categories. Well yea, the Creative one is of the type canal and offers passive noise cancellation which is a plus point. On the other hand the in-ear type earphones from Bose sit in the bowl of the ear without forming an isolating seal and are good for people who don't like that kind of proximity. But at the end of the day, most people want value for money and this is where the Bose In-ear headphones falter. |
