A new pair of headphones from Koss came in for review the other day, and the design didn't surprise me in the least – especially since the last pair I reviewed was still fresh in my memory. There’s also this thing about how every new headphone looks much like the old, but even so I could guess it’s a Koss product from afar. This one comes with a behind-the-neck form factor that I feel doesn’t work for everyone. You will appreciate the light weight though. Nevertheless, it’s still your poor ears that have to bear all the stress. Another problem is with the fit. There are no grooves for adjustment, so if it fits it’s nice, and if it doesn’t, well, that's just too bad! The problem is it didn’t fit snugly enough in my ear canals to make the bass effective. Every time I tried them the left earphone slipped out, wasting a lot of sound that would otherwise have flowed inside the canal. |
