Plantronics is a known brand in the world of Bluetooth headsets, and has always come up with stuff that’s high on performance. We make a “discovery” of their latest headset, the Discovery 975. Sleek and sexy A gunmetal gray color gives it a super metallic look and the base has a black leather finish. The earpiece has a padding of transparent gel, which makes it quite comfortable to wear (at least in the beginning) and at the same time stays firmly attached to your ear. Comfortable, but not for long
It has a button on the side which functions as the power button and also can be used to answer or cut calls. There’s a button below to increase/decrease the volume and a mini USB port for charging. The charging case has a rich feel with its leather casing. Bundled with the package is a USB wire, a two-pin adapter and a three pin adapter (in case you travel a lot) and additional ear-cases. One of the sad points is that while it’s quite comfortable initially, I ended up having an earache after wearing it on my right ear for as long as 45 minutes. Strangely, it wasn’t the same on the left one. |
