Unfortunately i.Tech has not yet perfected their headphone microphones for clarity of speech. While incoming calls sound clear the caller will experience a bit of static in the sound when speaking. I tried the headset in various locations with the handset kept as near or as far as possible. Incidentally the headset has great range with relatively good signal pick up even indoors between rooms. Audio sounds really good with bass coming with a thump you’ll be tapping your feet to, but the highs are just a little bit on the bright side. The range can be adjusted a bit with the SRS WOW settings. The only issue is – at peak volume people around you will be able to hear whatever you’re listening to. Battery What is truly outstanding about this product is it's battery. The BlueBand Sport, according to the company's own website, can provide users with a talktime and music play time of up to 8 hours respectively. However, in reality after testing, the Sport, we actually clocked in about 8 hours and 25 minutes of talk time and 10 hours 50 minutes of music playback. It's very rare that you find a product that surpasses the company’s own exceptions of the same by this much. The Bottom Line The i.Tech BlueBand Sport comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,700 (MRP). It provides pretty good sound for music but there’s just a small issue with the microphone, though incoming calls are no problem. The headphones are comfortable enough to use while working out or jogging and that's exactly what they're designed for. |
