Music and Camera The camera is a 5MP job. A 'touch focus' feature lets you tap anywhere on the screen to focus on a certain portion of the frame. The sluggishness of the phone often trickles down to the performance of the camera. There were occasions when it failed to start at all, even after rebooting the phone. Overall tonality is fine, although low-light landscape pictures are not one of its strengths. Deep amber gets passed off as purple. The effect isn't too bad, but I'd like my amber back please! In contrast, the N95's camera could get the coloration right, and vibrantly so. Battery and Price The battery will prove to be a problem if you're a power user. It will certainly need to be charged every day, and if you constantly use the multimedia features, Wi-Fi/GPRS, and camera, be prudent enough to carry your charger with you. The G900 costs Rs 19,250 on the street, while the official company price is Rs 21,495 (both inclusive of the Bluetooth headset). The Bottomline SE is plagued by bad customer service, to which I am witness. This should be a big deciding factor. You don’t want to be sent bouncing from one wall to another in case of a glitch, do you? |
