Nokia 3110 Classic

Nokia has got to be one of the most innovative phone manufacturers, and yet here is a product that looks like a small sized black brick. So why would someone go for the Nokia 3110 classic? Well, read the review right down to the conclusion for that.

Design
The way the 3110 classic is designed, it gives off the impression of extreme dullness. I believe, this phone was done up in passing, and I’m sure you will agree, the form factor is something even the most fashion-deprived mind should find bland. The 3110 comprises a glossy black front and a black rubber rear. But that’s it!

Also in my opinion the dimensions aren’t impressive either. At 108.5 x 45.7 x 15.6 mm, it leaves a lot to desire for from the phone. The phone’s surprisingly light though, weighing only 87g.

Despite my bad remarks on the overall look of the phone, I have to give it to Nokia to instill an ergonomically good phone. The buttons are evenly placed, and are satisfactorily responsive too. The five-way D-pad, however, may pose to be a bit of a problem at first, but I got used to it soon enough.

The volume keys can be found on the right side of the phone, while the left hand comprises the Infrared port. The power off/on button can be found on the top, and the bottom has the charger plus the miniUSB slot and the 2.5mm earphone jack. The camera is situated above the battery cover.

Would you buy it?
