Performance The player supports MP3, WMA, OGG and ASF formats. And while it doesn’t really require you to use the bundled software (iriver plus), if you are into maintaining genres the software is a piece of cake. Although, in my opinion it’s simply pointless, so I keep dragging and dropping all the songs. As seen in the other iriver products we reviewed, the S10 too managed to make us smile. For a tiny player, the S10 manages quite a bit. From a 5-band custom EQ to manual SRS settings, this player has everything. That said, the lanyard earphones couldn’t handle the lows quite efficiently. Although, the player incorporates the SRS TruBass technology, the bass handling capability of the earphones are below par. It simply couldn’t reproduce most of the low frequency information in most of the songs. |
