I’m stumped why LG has named its KF750 mobile the ‘Secret’. What's it supposed to hide, exactly? Not the fact that its touchscreen has some limitations, surely? But let me stop waffling and cut to the chase. And so, here's my take on LG’s stylish new handset. The slider is swift and extremely smooth going up, it’s on the way down that the Secret seems to have a problem. It could be that a locking mechanism prevents the upper portion from sliding down without a little effort. The keypad is well-designed and easy to use. Just below the volume/zoom keys on the side of the handset is a shortcut key to access the Touch Media menu that activates the touchscreen features. Below that is the active applications key that shows you shortcuts to the desktop, main menu, and any active apps running in the background. A small symbol appears at the top to indicate any active apps. There's a dedicated camera key and the USB-cum-charging port-cum-(sigh)-handsfree slot on the other side. A 5 MP camera with LED flash is located on the back and the hot-swap slot for microSD cards is under the rear panel. You won’t need to remove the battery to access the card, so no worries there. |
