The 3.0 megapixel camera that the KF600 is equipped with has a flash. This doesn’t seem to activate while taking a picture, but simply remains on if the option is selected. There are plenty of options to get the best out of the camera, such as white balance, macro mode and scene modes (including a night mode). There’s also a portrait enhancing feature if you wish to take close-up images of a person. Other features include shake reduction, a self-timer that goes up to 10 seconds, and a multi-shot mode that can take up to six consecutive images. Like most mobile cameras this one also comes with an Effects mode for various color settings to add some flair to your pictures. On the whole the image quality is quite good. Considering dull weather in Mumbai, the images do look quite good. Macro closeups are quite decent too. Though it’s a bit slow, the camera is definitely one of the better features. What proved to be a huge disappointment was the battery. With a talktime of just over 2 hours, I was seriously upset. According to the company, the handset should be capable of giving at least 4 hours of talktime, but regular usage (with messaging, a little music, a few calls and surfing the net) saw me getting barely a whole day's usage.
