Sniper Elite V2 comes real close to offering players an engaging sniping experience, but ultimately falls a bit short thanks to clunky controls, terrible AI and wonky stealth mechanics.
Visually the game has a charm of its own; it’s colorful, vibrant and extremely soothing to the eye, and most of the cars as well as tracks/environments (love the water effects) are well detailed and even though the game doesn’t go overboard with the motion blur, it still manages to convey a good sense of speed. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the same way about the game’s musical score, which was a bit too slow for my tastes and the fact that I couldn’t upload my own tracks into the game was kind of a downer.
At the end of the day, I would definitely recommend Trackmania United as it’s one of the few games that has effortlessly managed to traverse the boundaries of age and sex with its universal appeal. If that wasn’t enough, the game boasts of one of the best online communities where you can interact with other players as well as download some of the gazillion user made tracks out there (free of cost) increasing the game’s replayability by leaps and bounds.
So you have an old computer lying stagnant at home and don’t know what to do with it. Why not make your own NAS and make it serve you at home or office?
