Kodak has always been at the forefront of stylish products. The V1073 is, in my opinion, one of the best looking cameras in the market. The performance is way better than the earlier ones we reviewed – but as always there’s something lacking. The camera has a brushed black finish throughout, which can be a bit uncomfortable for those with ultra-dry palms. The large 3-inch screen is the USP of the V1073, while the touchscreen feature adds a touch of extra desirability. The camera has a minimalist design, chucking redundant keys and mainly limiting actions on-screen. On the face of the camera, right beside the screen, you will find three function keys. The zoom toggle key is at the top on the same side. The USB interface is proprietary, as always. This requires you to carry around all the cables and connectors, for the problem with proprietary cables is that if you forget by any chance, you will have to buy a new one from none other than Kodak. Yeah, I know it sucks! |
