As a product, Shine offers a rich set of features; essentially, everyday things that you will require. The UI is pretty simple, and has been kept so without messing up the looks. To enjoy the wheel, navigation is streamlined too. Some improvements from the Chocolate have been the T9 dictionary that is quite adaptive, so messaging is quite easy.
It comes with a handsfree that has a 3.5mm jack, so you can make use of your regular headphones and listen to music. Using a good pair of headphones makes the experience much richer. The look and feel of the music player is neat and simple, with visualization et al. It offers EQ presets, with an option to set the list in shuffle mode. I don’t like the fact that the phone deactivates calls, messaging and GPRS when it’s connected to the computer via USB. This is inconvenient because I like to stay connected all the time. So if you are charging the phone via USB do bear in mind that people won't be able to reach you.
