Multimedia The multimedia features of the phone are like any other. It supports playback of MP3, WMA and AAC music. The mode button on the side takes you directly to the music player application. The phone also comes with Visual Radio and has a stereo FM tuner built in. The phone comes with a USB cable with which you can sync and transfer music on to it. It comes with a pair of over-the-ear earphones. These have an arc that make sure the buds don’t drop out of your ear during strenuous workout activity. The inline remote has all your control buttons and also a standard 3.5mm jack, so you can replace the earphones with any others you might want to use. Camera The 2 megapixel camera on the 5500 takes acceptable pictures, but night time performance is marred by the absence of an LED flash. Interestingly, the phone does have a dedicated flashlight, but you can’t use that with the camera since its placed on the top of the phone (like other Nokia phones with flashlights). The camera also takes video. |
