More guidelines to better your photography skills
|
Break the Rules There's a thing they say about rules—they are meant to be broken. That stands completely true when it comes to these guidelines. While following these guidelines will give you great results, after a while you should break away from them. Do your own thing, use your discretion to frame your composition in the way it seems most appealing. For example the window below does not follow any of the composition rules that I have mentioned in the series, but it looks appealing nonetheless. Same goes the composition below. It doesn't follow the rule of thirds, neither does it obey the golden triangle rule. Still the overall effect is aesthetically pleasing. |
