Gaming this month is guaranteed to burn a deep hole through your pockets.

Spider Man Web of Shadows After the debacle that was Spiderman 3 and Spiderman Friend or Foe we have an interesting looking Spiderman game that boasts of a brand-new killer aerial combat system in addition to open world gameplay and the ability to choose your own destiny (sounds pretty deep, huh?) Fallout 3 The much-awaited remake of everyone’s favorite post-apocalyptic RPG, Fallout 3 takes place nearly 200 years after the earth has been laid waste by a cataclysmic nuclear war. Unlike previous Fallout games, Fallout 3 will be playable from either a third- or a first-person perspective, and will boast of real-time action similar to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (made by the same developer). Fracture In the near future America is torn in two by civil war and other annoyances like global warming. You now have two sides, the East Coast and the West Coast (heh) constantly at each other’s throats and in the middle you have the game’s protagonist called Jet Brody (really?) who along with his terrain deformation technology must try and restore peace and balance during these turbulent times. Fable 2 Bigger, better and more badass (I kid, I kid) than the earlier version, Fable 2 takes place nearly 500 years after the events of the first game in the land of Albion. Play as a knight in shining armor or a dastardly little selfish prick as you seek to fulfill your destiny and whatnot. New to this series is the ability to play the game in co-op, both online and offline (thank you Lionhead Studios). |
