Gaming Annoyances 101: The Human Factor

Let's take a look at how some annoying folk are capable of ruining that perfect gaming moment.

Gaming Annoyances 101: The Human Factor

American Idol Rejects

Now this annoyance I only experienced once I hit Xbox Live because frankly speaking I never bothered voice chatting before that. While Xbox Live is a pretty awesome service, you’ll also come across a whole bunch of obnoxious fellows who seem hellbent on abusing the facilities given to them, treating it as if it were their personal chat room. If you’re really lucky you’ll probably end up hearing someone’s rendition of an Akon song (you know the Lonely one) or even better, an Avril Lavigne number… yay!

AFK Players

AFK is short for Away from Keyboard and while this sort of a thing may not be a big problem in a game like World of Warcraft, it’s highly annoying if you have a couple of AFK people in your time during an intense CoD session. You see, even though they aren’t playing, they are still in the game and are accounted for but in practice they’re really not there so it leaves you and your team handicapped.

Also, there are tons of people who like to secure a spot for themselves in a popular server so if they head out for lunch or a break or anything they’ll just stay in the server making sure no one else takes their place. Luckily, many servers auto-kick players for being AFK for long periods.

It's quite short and it doesn't have any sort of versus multiplayer but The Darkness II is a polished and brutal shooter you should definitely check out, especially if you like ripping dudes to shreds.
