Gaming Annoyances 101: The Retard Factor

What gets on your nerves most while gaming? Here's another of our pet peeves.

Before you complain about how camping is a legitimate tactic, let me tell you I agree with you to an extent. It’s campers going overboard that really ticks me off! In games like Day of Defeat: Source, where there are weapons that are really overpowering (the mounted machine gun, in this case), it’s incredibly frustrating when you get slaughtered time and time again by one of these overpowered weapon-wielding mongrels, who perch up on really hard-to-reach places and rain bullets on your team. It’s okay to use these guns if you move around a little, and mount them strategically – but these guys use each and every exploit known to mankind to stack up the kills. They take grim satisfaction in knowing they’re grieving the entire enemy team... so whenever possible, get them kicked off the servers. |
