Gaming Annoyances 101: The Retard Factor

What gets on your nerves most while gaming? Here's another of our pet peeves.
|
In an earlier feature on gaming annoyances, Nash told you guys about what pisses him off most while gaming. Now I don’t get annoyed with the exact same stuff, so here’s a list of what pisses me off most while gaming… Apart from shooting the crap out of people, first person shooters are all about moving around strategically and positioning yourself in a way that allows you to lodge as many bullets in the enemy’s cranium as possible. Now picture a game of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The round starts, you dash for the nearest doorway. The retard in front of you stops moving, blocking the corridor completely while he ogles at the scenic view, or contemplates the meaning of life. A whole bunch of your teammates (you included) get held up there; a nearby enemy flings a grenade in your general direction, that lands right between your legs. Boom. You’re all dead; thank you, Mister Corridor Blocker! |
