Modify your console. Or at least dream about it!

Gaming consoles have been THE ultra-radical devices. How many of us can ever forget the first “brick-game” hand-held videogames our parents gifted us? Or the Atari/Nintendo console that we begged for and promised to “study hard” for it? And as of late, don’t the latest games oozing with special effects make you go buy that PS3? The answers to all questions above have to be in the positive!

Another twist to the history of consoles is the modifications done to them. Come to think of it, tweaking your console physically and mentally (hardware and software!) will not only give it an out-of-the-world look, but some hardware modifications also help to over clock your consoles to deliver higher performances.

So, we list a few consoles here that are really worth drooling at, since it’s important to know that it’s not priced for the everyday youngster!

Sony PS3 Supreme

If there can be anything more expensive than a PS3 then it’s got to be the PS3 Supreme! It took a whole of twelve weeks of unambiguous workmanship to fashion this dazzling beauty! The whole main outer section has been reformed with circa 1,600 grams of solid 22ct gold. Both sides of the disc loading entrance have 58 individually set 0.50 ct Flawless diamonds which total 26ct. This Limited Edition has only 3 pieces made! So, be the first to get it. Don’t worry about the price because all it costs is �199,995.00 (approx Rs. 1, 47, 99,630) which is equivalent to two kidneys, two legs and one lung for those who say gaming for “life”!

Swarovski Crystals Studded Xbox 360

In case gold is not really the metal that attracts you, how about this crystal studded Xbox 360? CrystalRoc used more than 11,520 Swarovski crystals and it took designers some 70 hours to create this ornamental Xbox 360 Mod console giving it that dazzle which a plain Jane Xbox 360 lacks so bad! Hopefully the glittering crystals don’t get your attention when you’re maneuvering Ninja Gaiden around! One thing that’s bound to put a smile on your face is the price. It’s not mentioned at all!

Six months of precise workmanship went into creating the ultimate gaming station which boasts over 2,500 grams of solid 22ct gold. The front buttons are home to 78 x 0.25 ct Flawless diamonds which total 19.5 ct. Only 3 pieces being made, the price is a lot better than that of the PS3 Supreme. If the last one doesn’t make you a psychotic killer, this one definitely will! The price is a gasping �299,995.00 which is approximately Rs. 22199630

Yes you read that right! A Paris Hilton Nintendo DS! And before you ask, it really doesn’t matter whether she knows to use one or not, as long as it looks good. Though not cool enough for the average geek, it definitely would be the most suspicious-looking portable handheld out there. The price is $ 599 (approx Rs. 28,000) wanna buy it?

It might seem that we are only catering to more female readers than the male ones, but guys, high functionality stuff has stopped being expensive!! So to come up with real expensive things to game, you ultimately have to add diamonds, crystals or gold! Just to give a choice of weapons which can kill you, there are two versions called Passion of Flowers and Black Cobra. With a price of $ 1,143 (approx Rs. 53, 000) you can show your girlfriend why PSP’s are the coolest thing to happen to gamers!
