What you must have if you like TPS games.

In recent times, games have started to come up with the dynamic third person view for many action/adventure genres. Although it’s not a new concept, it’s become a definite favorite with millions of gamers. It’s not only graphics or gameplay we’re talking about here, but the very fact that you get to see how well you bash up those fiends gives you a lot of pleasure. We've listed five games that have been out this year and are amongst the best in third-person action categories. Surely, every avid fan must have played at least one of these, or for that matter all of them. For those who’re still new, this is a list that can help you out! Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light Tomb Raider comes to life! After what seemed to be ages, we finally get to control the sexy, gun wielding babe, and this time you’ve got a sidekick. With some new moves, weapons, modes of gameplay and puzzles leading you to artifacts, there is no doubt of entertainment for hours and hours together. The previous Tomb Raider games are evidence enough that they don’t mess with their graphics. Grab this title! One of the most awaited Third Person action games of the year. Red Dead Redemption has all the ingredients to make you a rootin tootin cowboy of the Wild West! The environment of the game will make you want to just enjoy looking around and in fewer words feel the surroundings! Gameplay has been one of the best of all times and truth is, this has been a critic’s favorite! So, in the most simplest of words, this is one must-have, must-play or if not then definitely a must-watch! While Crackdown wasn’t a game that you would want to waste your time on, Crackdown 2 seemed to be a better improvement over the first on all fronts. It’s loads of fun to play in both single player and multi player. The addition of various in-game mechanics, modes, enemies and weapons alike are one reason why Crackdown 2 has seemed to be a good game to play. Maybe not the best, but it has a lot to offer! You may not really categorize Heavy Rain in the action category, very simply because it’s more of drama than action. Nevertheless, it’s on the list for the fact that it sure is quite entertaining. Honestly, how many titles out there let you shape your own destiny? The story tends to change depending on how you play the game, and visually it sure is a treat to your eyes. Undoubtedly, this has to be a game you gotta have because it’s something quite unique. Sequels normally have the same flow, return of the protagonist, same environment, another ending which might make you wonder whether there’s more to it, and that pretty much sums it up. Lost Planet 2 however, seems to be something quite different. The game is more multi-player than single-player, but the fact is that you still get to fight larger-than-life creatures in your vital suits. The action is exciting and so are the graphics. Making this a game that you must play from start to end to actually appreciate its worth. There certainly are many more titles out there, with the likes of Black Mirror II which should be out by 30th August. To catch up on their previews and reviews, watch this space. Also, let us know some games that you have played and also a list of your own. Who knows, you might get them in one of our contests! |
