Turn Pro Forma Invoices to Toilet Paper

A note on a new invention that turns waste paper into toilet paper.

Turn Pro Forma Invoices to Toilet Paper

Next time you run out of toilet paper at work (that has never happened actually), call your colleague and apologetically ask him/her to file up all old challans, invoices, salary slips etc. and head to the White Goat. Last week an interesting piece of news made it to our site. The Japanese have come up with a machine - they call White Goat - that can change waste paper into toilet paper. This machine can change 40 pieces of A4 paper into a roll of toilet paper in 30 minutes. The machine will cut up the paper, mix it with water and then after flattening, drying and cutting will produce a roll of toilet paper.

Green initiatives are always cool. Energy seems to the focus of all green inventions' key result areas, and rightfully so as the earth’s resources are depleting. But actually alternate forms of energy is not the only arm of green technology. There is also smarter waste management. Recycling is one of the best things we can do for the Earth; ask any granola munching sweet friendly neighborhood tree hugger.

The company making this machine claims that it costs around six pence (approximately Rs. 4) to make waste paper into one toilet roll. The machine weighs about 596 kilos and is about 6 feet tall. Click below to view the video.

However this piece of machinery will not come cheap, no way, thus we searched a bit and picked some bits about it being retailed at $ 100,000. That’s a lot of money, and the cost of toilet paper is so cheap that one wonders whether it makes economic sense.

But then we feel this product can be a good idea for a full fledged business plan for a waste management startup. Basically they can outsource a big, “itching to prove the world they are green” firm’s waste at a cost and sell the resultant toilet paper. Economies of scale can come in, and revenues can trickle in from both parties. For a single firm to purchase it, sounds a little daunting costwise and investmentwise. But no doubt, it’s a beautiful concept, and we hope to see more in the future. Maybe one that turns bosses into toilet paper.

It's quite short and it doesn't have any sort of versus multiplayer but The Darkness II is a polished and brutal shooter you should definitely check out, especially if you like ripping dudes to shreds.
