Women who like jazzy handset designs and are looking for something feminine are in luck.

Please don’t misconstrue this statement to be sexist, but technology has usually been a man's domain. But let’s not fool ourselves guys, there are plenty of gizmos designed for the fairer sex. Let me give you an idea of what I mean by showcasing a few mobile handsets designed for the ladies. To all my male readers out there in tech-land, hold on to your wallets fellas; and to all the lovely ladies, I hope this list helps you make up your mind when choosing your next mobile. Please understand that while some of these phones may have been specifically designed for women, this doesn't mean they necessarily have features specific to womankind, and more importantly, this list does not comprise handsets like that. Some are on this list simply because they come across as a bit feminine, so if any of you guys happen to own any of them there's no need to get testy; after all, this is just one guy's opinion. The handset supports GPRS/EDGE, email and Bluetooth with an A2DP profile. The lighting on the exterior is very classy yet refreshing, and that’s one of the reasons I’ve included this handset. This handset, although stylish, is quite limited in terms of features. Among the exclusions are a camera and Bluetooth. The oddest thing is that even though it supports GPRS/EDGE it has no support for external memory and doesn’t even have a media player. Needless to say, this is just a handset you’d want for making and taking calls and messages, it’s an entry-level glamour phone and nothing more. |
