Diwali is just around the corner and of course that means a whole lot of noise, smoke, sweets and gifts going around. The one thing that pretty much remains consistent is the Indian public's expenditure on gifts and with that in mind take a look at some of the fully loaded mobiles you could select this year for the festive season. HTC Hero - Rs. 34,600 (MRP Maharashtra), Rs. 31,990 (All India) HTC’s second Android powered handset, the Hero was launched just a little while ago. It’s not quite like the previous mode, the Magic, except for the somewhat awkward choice of names. The Hero comes with HTC’s new Sense UI that has quite a lot to offer users in terms of it being quite user-friendly and allowing users to always stay connected. It’s well equipped for the Social Networking youth, from its superb sound quality and large screen perfect for watching videos and YouTube to of course the 5MP camera. It’s also well suited for the business user with easy access to emails, an easy to view and use internet browser and the ability to easily view documents etc. Its features include -
Samsung’s Omnia HD is a seriously loaded handset. In fact it’s so equipped that it weighs in at 148g which makes it a wee bit heavy. Trust me you won’t feel that when you take it all into account. Aside from the fact that it comes with one of the largest AMOLED displays available in mobile phones, Samsung’s made sure that you get your money’s worth by loading it up with video codecs for copy-paste video playback, an 8MP camera with features like Smile and Blink detection and Geotagging, a smooth UI and all of this running on a 1GHz (combined) processor.
