Top Three Free Antivirus Software

Here are three antivirus applications that offer good features and adequate protection - for free!
|
AVG Antivirus 8 Free Edition Name: AVG Antivirus 8 Free Edition
AVG has been a long-term favorite with freeware users. Though it’s light on features as compared to AVG, it makes up for this by requiring low system requirements and offering good scanning speeds. It offers unlimited use, along with unlimited updates. Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Publisher: Avira GmbH Avira is another brand that has a loyal following. It offers a wide range of protection similar to Avast! but stands out with its clean interface and great scanning speeds. Though it does have an annoying nag screen that pops up everyday, it remains free and is thus a perfect candidate for our roundup. |
