If you're a casual gamer at heart, here are a few websites you must check out!

Top 5 Flash Gaming Websites

With recession taking a toll on companies all over, its nothing out of the ordinary to be overworked and stressed out. If that's the case, there's nothing like a quick stress busting online game session to take the edge off (provided your connection isn't blocked!). With that in mind, I've compiled a list of websites that offer loads of free online gaming content...

First off, it's time for some shameless self promotion - besides the short email address, social networking aspect and providing heaps of other services, Network 18's IN.com gives you access to a motherlode of online games (more than 12000). Now these aren't spin-offs of popular titles or the most popular online games out there, but for what it's worth they're still addictive as hell. Also, it's always an adventure in itself to sift through countless obscure titles, looking for that fun game to help you de-stress. Here are my favorites from in IN.com —

Don't be deterred by its uninspired name, Deadly Race didn't make it as the most popular game on the IN.com network just by humoring people. The gameplay offered is rock solid, featuring the old-school top-down view (a lot like the Nintendo Entertainment System's 'RoadFighter' title) with many interesting mechanics to keep you hooked. You basically have to drive around in a car, crashing into enemy cars and running over pedestrians to make some dough. You can use this dough to upgrade your ride's armor, controlling and even its offensive abilities to help you take on the challenging boss fights the game throws at you.

Rise of a Knight is a side-scrolling action game that features more decapitation than any other before it. While the game takes quite a while to load on slow connections, it offers a versatile combat system that has light, heavy and special attacks. The rather well done animation keeps you glued on as your knight in 2D armor slays hordes of ceaseless goblins as he makes his way to rescue Princess Leana.

If you're one who dislikes how most casual games don't challenge you to the very least, JVC Stinger Sniper's for you. Most of your mission involve sniping a team of bad guys across buildings in a timely manner, while other require you to solve a story based puzzle to help you move from one building to another. The game features a slick artstyle and smooth animations, which you're bound to grow fond of in no time.
