Some games for Wii owners

Must Have Games for the Nintendo Wii

While the Wii might not be doing too well in the market (with titles mostly focusing on family and group interaction games); it’s not a console that you can actually overlook. Sure it did great in 2009, and sure it does ok now, but with the PSMove and Microsoft’s Kinect slated to release soon, Wii is definitely gonna have a lot of competition coming soon. The point over here is, the Wii is a great console to have, especially during those family get-togethers and birthday parties!

So, we’ve come up with a few games that have been good on the Wii. These games are not meant for groups only, but can also be played all by yourself.

Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

The title for Wii owners to be proud of. Ubisoft’s second title in the POP series for the Wii, The Forgotten Sands is a revival for the Prince Of Persia and a good one at that. Even though there has been a lot of criticism regarding the camera angles and combat sequences. It still deserves to be on our list  for its graphics and gameplay, and also for Wii owners who are Prince Of Persia fans!

Tatsunoko VS Capcom

While most of you have heard, read, and played Capcom stuff, Tatsunoko has been a rather isolated name in the gaming industry. A Japanese animation company that came out with a once-famous Battle Of The Planets, this game incorporates a match-up between characters from Capcom and Tatsunoko.
A 2D in 3D game, (rendering in 3D, but 2D in the sense that the game is played with a side-view), the fight system is pretty impressive and trying ultra-cool combat moves won’t leave you with tied-up fingers. Great graphics makes it the best-looking fighter game for the Wii.

New Super Mario Bros.

People of all ages have loved and liked Mario. While back in the 90’s, Super Mario’s colorful levels with melodious music was the most entertaining thing on TV, today, the environments and story-line is just the same, bringing back those memories. The gameplay is quite smooth and the headline feature is that you can have a 4-player mode, where each of you control different characters and if you bump, it’s very likely that you push your co-player on an enemy! Worth buying for Mario fans!

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

Rarely would you expect such a title coming on a family-happy gaming console which is full of gore and blood, so much so that you’d have to take a break from playing the game for long intervals! A control list which is easy to pull off with the Wii Remote and the nunchak, this is a fast-paced, action-packed game with some great graphics and has the ability to become a name that is synonymous with Nintendo!

Guitar Hero: Metallica

If games and music are your passion, and if you also own a Wii console, then this is the game for you. Metallica has been an all time favorite metal band that has come up with many chartbusters. People who’ve been fans of Nothing Else Matters, Wherever I May Roam, and All Nightmare Long will actually love to play as any one of Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, or Robert Trujillo as an in-game avatar. With emphasis on the gamer’s skills of playing the guitar, the game is real fun for rock or metal fans and intuitive songs, this is a good game for the ones even who don’t really like music, rock, metal, or for that matter Metallica!

These were just some games that you should be buying for your Nintendo Wii, and depending on reader’s choice we can come up with some more games, do let us know what other games you wanna see or think should be out and are worth being played.
