A neatly compiled list of the 5 360 demos that could avert painful surgery.
href="http://www.tech2.com/india/videos/xbox360-games/top-5-xbox-360-demos/1977" target="_blank"> Ok so you got the Xbox 360, but what’s this, each game costs nothing less than Rs. 3,000 and you’re in no mood to sell off one of your kidneys for a couple of hours/days of entertainment. You could be a man and take the painful way out by undergoing surgery, or you could just log onto Xbox Live and download a couple of demos to keep you going till game prices drop. If you’re a real lazy SOB and aren’t in the mood to go through the entire list, here’s a neatly compiled list of 5 demos that should keep you entertained for a while. Dead Rising Developer: Capcom You’re trapped in a mall full of zombies and you have two choices; you could break down and cry like a little bitch or you could lay the smackdown on the living dead using nearly everything the mall has to offer. Take your pick from an array of objects like compact discs, shopping carts, golf clubs, chairs, cash registers, hangars, pots to weapons like knives, baseball bats, katanas, shotguns, scythes, sledgehammers and so on (you get the drift right?). Even though the demo’s pretty short; it offers a good amount of replayability and dark humor; I mean which game allows you to bludgeon zombies with soft toys, huh? Lost Planet Developer: Capcom Lost Planet is a third person action adventure in which you’ll have to survive a hostile frozen planet and face off against Snow Pirates and a whole bunch of weird ass aliens called the Akrid, who bear a strong resemblance to the bugs from Starship Troopers (which we all know can never be a bad thing). Even though the demo isn’t huge (around 350 MB), it offers a generous amount of gameplay in the form of two distinct missions and if you think that isn’t reason enough; take one look at the visuals and you will understand the meaning of 'next-gen'. |
