AAKASH, WORLD'S CHEAPEST TABLET PC FAILS SPECIFIED STANDARDS TEST

CVB NEWS- World's cheapest tablet PC Akash's production has been overshadowed after Ministry of Human resources expressed its dissatisfaction to the manufacturer data wind ltd. over the quality. Ministry further declined the supply of 70,000 tablet PCs from the manufacturer after they encountered some technical problems with the shipment of 30,000 tablets they received. Akash, worlds cheapest Pen Tablet that was unveiled last year is a joint effort of students at IIT Jodhpur and Data Wind Ltd. IIT Jodhpur suggested some technical specifications which were turned down by the company, stating that they are not included in the terms and conditions of the original tender.
