NO. This method is different and does not wipe anything. Is this the newest root method? Yes, and after gingerbread is released by htc/verizon, this will be the only method. My revolutionary tool freezes at any step, what do I do? Unistall ANY syncing software like HTC sync, Itunes, etc and turn off antivirus. Reboot phone AND computer and run revolutionary again. Revolutionary will not flash recovery, it keeps crashing, what do I do? After flashing recovery and trying to boot to recovery my phone sits at the white HTC screen, what do I do? Pull the battery, put it back in, turn your phone back on, reboot your computer, and run rev again. I cant find the su zip file while in recovery, what do I do? reboot your phone and mount ur sd card to your computer. Place the su zip file in a folder where you can find it easily. turn your phone off, hold volume down + power button, select recovery, then flash it like normal. When I try to install the su zip file it says "Installation aborted", how do I fix this? Make sure your selecting "choose zip from sdcard" then find the su file, dont select, "apply /sdcard/update.zip" After rooting I don't have the root check app, what gives?
