And while most of us might not buy it, we definitely want to know about what is the next revolution that apple is bringing with this mobile phone. Apple iPad 2 has made its way into India, but the iPhone 4 still remains elusive. However, we got one and bring you the review of the device that is expected to hit the market in the coming months. To start with, as far as the looks go, the iPhone 4 is nothing like its predecessors. The curved look is out and the device has more flat and angular design. The candy bar phone is rectangular in all the dimensions. The back panel is flat and the front panel has the 3.5 inch screen with retina display which supports capacitive touch. There is a metallic frame around the phone's spines that hosts number of ports and keys. Iphone 4 Features -The phone uses the pin mechanism for inserting the SIM card & has a SIM tray that pops out. -The phone only supports microSIM which has a bit of a down side as in case you choose to change your phone, you will have to get another SIM. -The front and the glossy back of the phone definitely adds on to the looks but is infact a fingerprint magnet. -the phone supports all popular clients including Microsoft exchange. You can open documents but you will need to buy the full office version in order to be able to create new documents. -When it comes to the interface, there is nothing that you have not seen before. -The phone is equipped with a secondary camera and you can use it for video calling over WiFi. This can also be used for taking self portraits. -Unlike the previous iPhone which had limited camera capabilities, the iPhone4 has a 5.0-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. -Still mode has another feature called HDR. If its active then once you take a shot, the camera captures three different pictures with varying exposure levels ad you can choose the best among them. -The camera has 5X zoom and the flash can be used as automatic, always on and off. -Photos can be goe-tagged and you can access the tags from the places tab in the gallery. -The camera is capable of capturing HD videos and then you can trim them using the frame counter that appears at the top of the video. You can just edit the start and end point. -There is no FM radio on the device ad you have to just make do with a music player. -You need to use iTunes to transfer content to you phone from the PC. -The player is basic and there are no sound enhancement features. -The sound quality just about made it to OK both from headphones as well as loudspeakers. -The battery performance is good. We could easily pass a day with continuous WiFi activity and hour of music, constant Email and calling. There is no option of expanding the internal memory and the phone is expected to be available in 16 GB and 32 GB versions. The apple iPhone is not available in India yet. However seeing the earlier launches we don't expect Apple iPhone 4 price to go below Rs. 30,000. With the Sony ericsson Experia Arc selling at 28,000 and HTC Desire HD at 26,800. Its about time apple rethought its pricing strategy.
