Canon 7D - Nikon to EOS Lens Adapter

Short review of the Kawa Nikon to Canon EOS lens adapter. Use Nikon MF lenses on your Canon EOS DSLR. Note The camera will display "00" for the aperture as the lens adapter doesn't have any electronics. You should be comfortable manually focusing and manually adjusting the aperture. Some great Nikon lenses for the Canon 7D's video mode are 50mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2, 35mm f/1.4, 35mm f/2. Video shows the Nikon AI 50mm f/1.4 in comparison to the Canon EOS 50mm f/1.8 II. You'll also see the Zacuto Z-Finder briefly and an attempt to show you how it works. The older Nikon MF lenses have a large focus wheel, which is very nice. You may find you'll need something like the Zacuto Z-Finder to get focus properly as the 1.4 aperture at 50mm (effective 80mm on Canon 7D), is VERY shallow and difficult to get right by using the LCD. Video captured with a Sony HDR-SR1 HD camcorder and Sony ECM-HW1 Bluetooth mic
