In this video I'm going to show you how to create a til shift effect with Gimp (Idea from the Samsung WB600 camera).
You want more videos like that? Thumbs up ;)
Short summary
1. open up your picture in Gimp
2. go to colors - brightness & contrast - more contrast (sth about 30 or 40) ,change the brightness until it looks nice
3. duplicate the layer (4th icon in the layer box)
4. go to filter - blur - gaussian blur (sth between 10 and 20 looks good ;) )
5. create a mask layer (rightclick on the top layer - add mask - white (full opacity)
6. choose the gradient tool - black to transparency (foreground color must be black!)
7. rectangle selection tool - select half of the picture
8. gradient tool create a gradient from the middle of your picture to the outside (try to make a vertical line)
9. go to selection - invert selection
10. make the same as point 8) for the other half of the picture
11. go to selection - select nothing
12. save your picture as .jpg, .png, or .tif and show it to your friends and family ;)
Hope you can understand my (bad) English :'D
